Enter the following codes at the versus screen before a battle starts. The numbers represent how many times a certain button is pressed:

Normal Achievements

Complete each of the following achievements below to get the allotted gamerscore. There are 12 achievements worth a total of 200 points:

Double Time (8): Complete a 2 hit combo against the CPU.

Competitor (12): Win a total of 10 Xbox Live Ranked Versus matches.

Combo Number 5 (15): Complete a 5 hit combo against the CPU.

Century (30): Win a total of 100 Xbox Live Ranked Versus matches.

Beat the Noob! (25): Beat the hidden character, Noob Saibot while playing the CPU.

Fatality (15): Complete a Fatality during an Xbox Live Versus game.

Flawless (11): Complete a Flawless victory against the CPU (1 round).

Match Five (12): Reach the fifth MATCH in any single player tournament.

Match Three (10): Reach the third MATCH in any single player tournament.

My Friend (20): Complete a Friendship during an Xbox Live Versus game.

Soother (20): Complete a Babality against the CPU.

Ultimate (22): Become the champion in any single player tournament.

Unlock Human Smoke

Player One-At the Select you fighter screen, pick Smoke and press [High Punch], [High Kick], [Block], [Run], and hold [Away] with the joystick simultaneously until the match begins. Smoke will explode into the Human Smoke.

Player Two-Do the exact same thing as Player One, except press [Right] with the joystick.

Player One, play as Human Smoke:
[High Punch], [High Kick], [Block], [Run], and hold [Away]

Player Two, play as Human Smoke:
[High Punch], [High Kick], [Block], [Run], and hold [Away]

Hidden characters

Select Arcade mode as any character under any difficulty setting. Intentionally lose your first match and allow the timer to count all the way down. When the timer reaches zero a screen will appear where you can enter codes. Each block corresponds to a specific button. You must enter the following codes within ten seconds to unlock the corresponding character.

Note: Use the following trick to save the hidden characters so they do not have to be unlocked again. Unlock the desired character(s) in Arcade mode. Go to the character selection screen. Pause game play, then exit the game. The unlocked characters will be available for the remainder of your game session. When you start the game again, you must first enter Arcade mode to load the previously unlocked characters. Wait until the character selection appears, then exit. You can now play with the unlocked characters online. Not going into Arcade mode first will result in those characters being removed as playable.

Classic Sub-Zero: Press Y(8), A, RB(8), B(3), X(5) on controller one, then Y(8), A, RB(8), B(3), X(5) on controller two.

Ermac: Press Y, A(2), RB(3), B(4), X(4) on controller one, then Y(4), A(4), RB(3), B(2), X on controller two.

Milena: Press Y(2), A(2), RB(2), B(6), X(4) on controller one, then Y(2), A(2), RB(2), B(6), X(4) on controller two.

Secret Gamerpic

Win ten Xbox Live Ranked matches to unlock a secret Gamerpic with the number "3" and the Mortal Kombat.
